Yes, his head looks cut off, that's where the glow comes in. Si'an is only partway through solidifying his physical form in this image, the glow fleshing out the general boundaries in which his energy will be contained once solidified.

Si'an is another astral species, similar to Kaj'a, except his main source of sustenance is taken from symbiotic relationships with humans. He provides companionship and emotional strength to the lonely and in turn siphons of small strands of life energy from his human host--small enough that they are replenished during the host's sleep cycle.

Because of the somewhat vampiric appearance of his means of sustaining himself, he is often wrongly classified as a demon. This is not true. However, neither is he an "angel", which an equally ignorant person might consider him to be, due to the pale colouring and light glow he emits.

Complete positive side effects would possibly include a heightened awareness of other astral beings, deeper enjoyment of simple daily activities, partial fulfillment of social needs, and increased courage/willingness in facing normal trials

Negative side effects of hosting one of Si'an's species would include increased drowsiness during the day, a slightly increased need for sleep at night, random cravings, and occasionally feeling as if watched.

Physical form description: Very tall, around 6'6"-6'7", with skewed proportions making him appear impossibly long and lean. Pale skin and mostly-straight platinum-silver hair trailing down to his waist. Light blue pupiless eyes that appear far to large for his skull. Hands and fingers are also very long and slender, in accordance with his other features. He also has an animal form reminiscient of a charcoal grey doberman with a silver mane and charcoal feathered wings, dragon-like paws with long talons, and a long neck and tail.

Despite his features being typically that of a teenage boy overall, Si'an is technically genderless and morphs into the body of a willowy female on occasion, usually as a joke. However, despite being hermaphroditic in nature, he prefers a male form in most situations.
